Basic Life Support (BLS) Training

Our BLS course is tailored for healthcare professionals and first responders who need to provide immediate, high-quality care in life-threatening situations. Participants will learn:

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR techniques.

  • How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

  • Effective team-based resuscitation skills.

  • Airway management and relieving airway obstructions.

Who Should Attend? Healthcare providers such as nurses, doctors, EMTs, and other medical professionals.
Certification: Upon successful completion, participants will receive an AHA-compliant BLS certification, valid for two years.
Duration: 4 hours

Heartsaver First Aid Training

Our First Aid course is ideal for anyone who wants to be prepared to manage injuries and illnesses until professional help arrives. This class covers:

  • Assessing emergency situations.

  • Caring for wounds, burns, and fractures.

  • Handling medical emergencies like heart attacks, strokes, and seizures.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training

Medication Administration Training

Aspire Professional Training Center’s Medication Administration class is designed to provide healthcare professionals, caregivers, and direct support staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively administer medications. This course focuses on understanding medication protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and minimizing risks associated with medication administration.

  • Medication types, classifications, and uses.

8-Hour DDS Training
$99.00 (Call To Schedule)

The "8-hour DDS training" refers to a mandatory training program provided by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) that all individuals seeking to become providers of services to people with developmental disabilities must complete, covering essential topics like person-centered planning, rights of individuals with disabilities, health and safety procedures, and reporting unusual incidents, totaling eight hours of training required for initial certification as a provider. 

Key points about the 8-hour DODD training:

  • Purpose:

    To equip new providers with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to safely and effectively support individuals with developmental disabilities. 

  • Content covered:

    • Understanding developmental disabilities and person-first language 

    • Ohio's support system and relevant waivers 

    • Person-centered planning and service documentation 

    • Reporting and documenting unusual incidents (UIs) and major unusual incidents (MUIs) 

    • Health and safety procedures including universal precautions 

    • Rights of people with developmental disabilities and restrictive measures 

  • Who needs to take it:

    Anyone applying to become a direct support professional (DSP) or agency provider delivering services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Ohio.
